12 Designer-Approved Therapy Clinic Logos to Inspire You

Jun 5, 2018, 1:22:18 PM
Are you in the early stages of branding your pediatric therapy practice? Or are you an established clinic that’s looking to redesign its logo? If so, then it’s a good idea to look for some design inspiration to give you ideas and direction.

Here at Fusion Web Clinic we make clinic management software specifically for pediatric therapists, so we’ve seen hundreds of clinic logos over the years. As the Creative Specialist at Fusion, I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly, and I've compiled a list of some of the best of these logos to help you on your branding journey.

Below each logo you'll find a brief explanation as to why it made the list. You can use these takeaways as you proceed with having your clinic's logo designed.

1. Red Wagon Therapy

Red Wagon Therapy's logo is memorable and simple. It sticks to two primary colors, and its name plays off an iconic childhood theme. This logo is a great example of how a pediatric practice can make its branding child-like without looking childish.

2. Atlanta Speech Therapy

Atlanta Speech Therapy's logo has several things working in its favor such as its distinct color palette. A lot of the pediatric therapy logos that I've seen use too many clashing colors, and they often use the same colors: red, blue, green, yellow, etc. They look like rainbows.

Atlanta Speech Therapy's logo is distinctly different, and it gives off a calm, pediatric vibe.

3. Milestones Therapeutics

I've included this physical therapy clinic logo in the list because it is very different from almost all of the other pediatric therapy logos out there. It doesn't rely on any cliches, and it's iconography evokes a sense of balance.

4. Lexington

Lexington's logo is fairly simple, but that's one of the reasons I like it. It doesn't try to do too much, and Lexington has robust brand consistency across their website and social media. If you want to look at a therapy clinic doing branding right, check out their site.

5. Encompass

I appreciate the Encompass logo because it has a hand-drawn feel. A lot of clinics attempt this style, but they usually end up looking too sloppy. Encompass avoids that mistake.

If you're going to go this route, make sure you do it well.

6. McMains Children's Developmental Center

Vertical-oriented logos like this are not as common which can help you stand out. However, they're also not as flexible. So make sure you think it through before deciding its the right fit for your clinic logo.

7. Camba Speech & Language Therapy

Camba's logo has a wonderful color palette, but where it really shines is its use of typography and typefaces. The font matches the style of the icon, and the two main words (speech & therapy) line up with the two sides of the icon. All of these things together make this logo feel harmonious.

8. Silver State Speech Therapy

Silver State's logo is one of my favorites on this list. It's highly professional, and the concept is very different from most of the other speech therapy logos. The cliche with speech therapy logos is to use icons and visuals related to sounds, speech, and communication.

Silver State took things in an entirely different direction and decided to highlight the state they practice in. I love the visual depth and complementary color palette that is used in this design.

9. Stepping Stones Therapy

The Stepping Stones Therapy logo excels with its icon design. The style, triad, and composition is visually appealing and ties in nicely with their name.

10. Let's Eat!

This Australian speech pathology practice did the right thing by choosing this mascot-focused logo design. Kids love mascots and animals, and the quality of the illustration makes this logo highly memorable.

11. Nevada Speech & Therapy Group

Nevada Speech & Therapy Group's logo is simple, but in a good way. The color palette and lightness immediately communicates to people that it is a pediatric-specific practice.

12. Gateway Pediatric Therapy

Much like the previous logo, Gateway's branding is very simple. It's clean and modern, and it does not rely upon too many colors.
